Oluwatoyin Edun Oluwatoyin Edun is the Group Managing Director of Fusion Group Limited. Starting her career in banking, she transited to entrepreneurship and is making an impact in a male dominated field of Real Estate. She is passionate about female development and empowerment and has also contributed to female empowerment through mentoring, coaching and being of service. She continues to speak up for education and equal opportunities for the girl child and believes that women have so much to contribute in all spheres of life. According to Oluwatoyin, Women are collaborators and not competitors thereby deserving a seat at the table with men in the bid to create a better society.

Toyin is the first of five children (4girls and 1 boy). She grew up in Ibadan and attended Bodija International School for her primary education, Queens School Ibadan for her secondary school education and later proceeded to International school Ibadan for A Levels. She graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1997 with a second class degree Honors (Upper division) in Political Science, and bagged an MBA from Business School Netherlands. She attended several courses in prestigious business schools including; The Lagos Business School (Pan African University) and Queens Business School, Canada. She also attended several trainings and received outstanding awards in my career.

She fell in love with the Banking Industry during her University days and this led her to starting her career at Eko International bank in 1999 from the Human Resources Department, she proceeded to FSB International Bank moving between the private and commercial banking units. Her trajectory of success led to being head hunted for Metropolitan bank where she worked in treasury, retail, and commercial units. She later joined FCMB in 2005. While at FCMB, she started as an Assistant Manager and rose to the position of Assistant General Manager having worked in different departments of the Bank. She took the audacious task of managing the fourth largest branch of the bank and turned it around to become the second most profitable and second biggest branch in terms of balance sheet.

Having achieved this feat, she was charged with the responsibility of setting up the public sector group for Lagos state, one of the largest cities in Africa which became a major niche for the Bank. She retired from Banking at the age of 40 to start her own Real Estate and Hospitality Business. She bought into a family business in 2015 where she became a Director and subsequently took over the operations in Real Estate and Facilities Management, and also expanded her focus into co-working space with the setting up of her Virtual Hub. She is an entrepreneur with keen interest in Tourism and Hospitality and has done quite a lot of work in hotel management, short letting as well as consultancy for both sectors.

Her foray into the Hospitality and Tourism sector is borne out of her personal passion to create memorable and lasting experiences for people. She has watched with so much sadness the falling standards in the sector over the years and took steps to contribute her own quota to investing and developing the sector by training the personnel working in these critical service roles. She would also be actively involved in tour transportation and management while developing various packages to attract diverse people. Currently, she runs a group called the Fusion Group with subsidiaries in South Africa and the United Kingdom. She has also received several awards both home and abroad in recognition of her passion and contribution to the real estate and hospitality sectors.


Opeolu Awolesi

Fire and Safety Consultant

Opeolu Awolesi is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Manager. Over the years he has undergone several trainings and acquired skill in Fire and Explosion Investigation, Fire Risk Assessment and Fire safety Management, Fire Safety Design and Engineering, Fire Dynamics and Modelling, Fire Safety Trainings amongst others.

Opeolu is a safety expert with almost 20 years’ experience in project delivery in the fire safety industry. He has handled projects for Government and private businesses in Uk and Nigeria. His educational background includes an in MSc Fire and Explosion Engineering (University of Leeds), MBA in Information Technology, B.Eng Mechanical Engineering, Fire Risk Assessment Certification (Warrington Fire), NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate.

His years of experience cuts across consulting with Building Control on the Fire Safety Design particularly in relation to Building Regulation, standards and code Applying the Fire Engineering principles in accordance with BS7974 and other relevant British Standards, carrying out fire safety audits of premises to assess their risks and the adequacy of their fire arrangements, discussing with and providing advice to responsible persons of premises on steps necessary to achieve compliance and consulting with other enforcing authorities in respect of fire safety provisions within premises etc.

Olufemi Williams

Olufemi Williams is the Director of Strategy and Planning (EMEA). She graduated from London Guildhall University with LL.B in Business Law. She holds professional qualifications and certifications in various disciplines including CDM (Construction Design and Management), NEC3 (New Engineering Contract), APMP (Association for Project Management Professional), Yellow Belt (Six Sigma), MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), PRINCE2, MOR (Management of Risk), OCP (Oracle Certified Professional), Judicial Training, etc.

She started her career as a Software Engineer (Oracle Developer) at Axial Logistics in 1998 and proceeded into Project Management Consultancy in 2001. Since then, she has worked on numerous high profile Strategy, Transformation, Transition, Procurement, HR, ICT, Infrastructure, Media, Client and Shared Services programmes in both Public and Private Sector.

Olufemi's leadership and management skills span across many industries in the UK including Telecoms, Transport, Rail, Health, Criminal Justice, Insurance, Logistics, Construction and Advertising. She has previously worked at Office of Government Commerce, Transport for London, NHS London, T-Mobile, Balfour Beatty, London Probation Trust, Cabinet Office, Government lega department, etc.

In 2005, she was awarded the Opportunity Now Award for Public Sector for her successful delivery of the Managing Diversity Competence Programme for London Underground. In 2009, she led the programme for London Probation Trust to reduce Prison population in London prisons by 32%. In 2011, she was appointed 'Justice of the Peace' in the UK by the Lord Chancellor on behalf of HM the Queen and currently sits as a Magistrate in North East London court. In 2016, she was part of the Bidding team that won the £2billion PITTA contract (Programmes for Investment and Transformation og TfL Advertising) for Exterion Media.


Folakemi Lawore

Branding and Marketing Consultant

Folakemi Lawore graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She started her professional career as a corporate strategy supervisor with Sahara Group limited in May 2008. She proceeded to Procter & Gamble in February 2011 as an Assistant Brand Manager and rose to become the Digital Marketing Manager for West Africa in January 2012. By June 2012, Folake was promoted to become the Regional Assistant Brand Manager, Middle East & Africa. She operated from Dubai and covered 7 major markets across the region.

She resigned voluntarily in October 2014 to set up her brand marketing and event consultancy business. Fola has worked with various brands including Virtual Hub since that time. She has over ten years experience in leading regional brands, digital marketing, communications management and strategic business planning. She is currently our consultant on branding and digital marketing.


Adebola Famoroti

Adebola Famoroti is an ESA Certified sponsorship practitioner, with her Background in computer engineering. She has an outstanding analytical mindset which she applies to implement marketing projects and initiatives. Adebola is an experienced marketing, communications, sponsorship and reputation management expert, with a leverage of 10year’s experience. On her watch she was able to raise the KPI’s for Connect Marketing Services.

She exhibits strong work ethics and integrity, and applies her knowledge and creative energy in whatever situation she is in. She has achieved this mile stone in her career through hard work and dedication, she mentors young aspiring marketing practitioners.


Temitope Ogundeji

Business Consultant

Temitope Ogundeji is a Business Consultant at Fusion Group Limited. She graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelors degree in Economics and holds a Masters degree in Economics from University of Lagos.

She started her career at Chevron Nigeria Limited as an intern where she gained professional work experience. She later worked with Intels Nigeria Limited as a Credit controller (Trainee) and then worked with First Solicitors Law Chambers in different managerial capacity for five years.

Her core strengths lie in Business Process Analysis and Improvement, Business Strategy, Strategic Planning, Report Generation and Business Development. She is currently a member of the Chartered institute of personnel management.
